Handle Performance and Competition in a Way that Supports a Growth Mindset

Able Athletics Mindset provides expert mindset coaching through a proven 12-week program to build confidence, resilience, and focus.

Control Your Emotions to Stay Calm Under Pressure

Emotional control is key to performing at your best, especially in high-stakes moments. By developing self-awareness and using techniques like deep breathing and positive self-talk, you can manage frustration, fear, and nerves to stay focused and in control.

Turn Setbacks into Opportunities for Growth

How you respond to mistakes and adversity defines your success as an athlete. Instead of dwelling on frustration, learn to reframe challenges, stay solution-focused, and use setbacks as motivation to improve.

Build Mental Resilience and React with Confidence

Your ability to regulate and control emotions impacts decision-making, teamwork, and overall performance. Strengthening emotional resilience helps you bounce back quickly, maintain a positive mindset, and approach every situation with confidence and composure.

Taking Control of Emotions & Responding Positively with the Elite Mentality System

Emotions play a powerful role in an athlete’s performance—when controlled, they can fuel focus and drive, but when unchecked, they can lead to frustration, doubt, and poor decision-making. Using the Elite Mentality System, athletes will learn how to manage their emotions under pressure and respond positively in any situation.

Athletes will start by building emotional awareness, identifying triggers that cause frustration, anxiety, or self-doubt. Instead of letting emotions take over, they will practice breathing techniques, mindfulness, and mental resets to regain control in the moment. They’ll learn how to use pre-game and in-game emotional regulation strategies to stay composed, whether dealing with a bad call, a mistake, or a high-pressure moment.

Through self-talk training, athletes will understand how their internal dialogue shapes their emotional response. By replacing negative thoughts with constructive affirmations, they’ll develop the ability to stay confident and solution-focused, even in tough situations. Mental reframing exercises will also help them shift their perspective on challenges, allowing them to turn adversity into growth opportunities rather than setbacks.

By the end of the program, athletes will have the skills to control their emotions rather than being controlled by them. They will know how to reset quickly, channel emotions into positive energy, and stay mentally locked in no matter what the game throws at them. This ability to stay calm, composed, and focused will not only elevate their performance but also their leadership and overall confidence as an athlete.
